We regret to announce that our 5th Annual Mt. Carmel Convocation, “Restoring the Altar of the Lord,” has been postponed until next year. As congregational leaders we have prayed and believe the Lord is leading us in this decision, as a result of low registrations due to the current tensions in our region. We are so grateful for your interest in joining us here, to stand with us and for your commitment to visit Israel. Thank you for your love, prayers and support. We do hope you will join us next year from May 22 -25, 2013!
With shalom,

In the days of
Elijah, God’s prophet confronted deception and false religion
in
a dramatic showdown on Mount Carmel with the false prophets of Baal.
Elijah “restored the altar of the Lord which was broken
down…with twelve stones according to the number of the
tribes of
the sons of Jacob” (1 Kings 18:30-31). Then God manifested
His
presence as holy fire fell from heaven. The altar on Carmel was a place
of encounter, sacrifice, prayer and prophecy. All the people fell on
their faces and cried, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is
God!” (v. 39). Once again God is confronting the powers of
darkness and hearing the prayers of His body on Mount Carmel.

This Convocation will include in-depth teaching on the prophetic
significance of Israel, the Church and Islam. There will also be an
emphasis on intercessory worship sessions as we join with one
another as the “one new man” of Jews, Arabs and
Gentiles
from the nations being built together as a “dwelling place
for
God in the Spirit” (Eph. 2:22). We are believing for
life-changing encounters with the Lord God of Israel during our days
together and that He will answer our corporate prayers on behalf of the
people of our Land
Please pray about
participating in this strategically-timed gathering and consider
bringing a group from you congregation. A five-day study tour to
Israel’s sites of biblical interest will also be available
after
the Convocation.
